Thank you for your interest in Monticello Motor Club. My partners and I hail from different industries and backgrounds, but we are united in our passion for motorsports. Our dream was to build a world-class racetrack that would be, first and foremost, a private club for a select group of like-minded friends. Launched in July 2008, the dream is now reality.
Situated on 650 beautiful hilltop acres, MMC offers a new road course facility with 4.1 miles of race-grade paving that forms a dozen course configurations, including a 3.5 mile “Full Course” with 18 turns, 1.5 miles of straights and 450 feet of total elevation change. We have incorporated exciting elements from some of the world’s most famous tracks while delivering a circuit unique in design and character.
Built to accommodate drivers of all abilities, MMC will keep even the most accomplished racers captivated. Car enthusiasts with minimal track experience, such as MMC member Jerry Seinfeld, find MMC the perfect setting to learn and explore new limits. At the other end of the spectrum, seasoned drivers come to refine their skills, prepare for upcoming races or just enjoy some laps at speed with friends. In fact, a third of our members join with no track experience whatsoever.
After completing one of our member racing schools or taking private instruction from our club pros, novices can quickly advance in skill and confidence, to drive “solo” on the racetrack alongside experienced racers and fellow members such as Jeff Gordon, Brian Redman and Chris Dyson. Ultimately, each member progresses at their own pace to decide how far they wish to take their driving dreams. From pace laps to wheel-to-wheel racing, like everything else at MMC, the choice is yours.
Regardless of skill, every member puts safety first, and the road course at MMC was designed with safety in mind. Well-placed barrier systems, generous run off areas, and new electronic safety systems, such as signaling lights and in-helmet receivers, allow members to test their abilities on one of the safest track environments available.
We also offer facilities and services that are common at upscale golf clubs but atypical of racetracks. Our new South Pavilion offers a full-service kitchen, bar, classrooms, members lounge, pro-shop, private locker room with showers, and temperature-controlled attached garages. MMC also offers a full automotive service center and storage facilities. It’s just the beginning.
Conveniently located 90 minutes by car or 24 minutes by helicopter to our private helipad, our race resort is the closest motorsports venue to New York City. Additional, Sullivan County Airport is 10 minutes from the club and accommodates private jets.
